LPG and Accessibility

Studies have shown that most South African households have at least one LPG appliance. Much of this is for leisure use, such as camping and braaing, but households across the spectrum use LPG as a substitute for electricity for space heating and cooking. However, many of these LPG appliances are not continuously being utilised. Reasons for this may be accessibility to and affordability of LPG. But, most positively for the LPG market, it appears that there is a strong base from which to build if the current hindrances to LPG use are overcome.
