Parallax is positioned as an implementing agent, using our understanding of the needs of all stakeholders to achieve practical solutions that satisfy all involved. However, we have recognised that effective implementation is not possible without proper assessment of the real requirements of the target market and analysis of viable solutions. On this basis, Parallax has also developed relevant capacity and experience to offer consultancy services.
Our priority in this area is to undertake work that will provide a basis for direct follow-up in the form of practical implementation. Assessing stakeholder needs, determining key barriers and developing action plans in the field of energy development are therefore areas of particular focus. In addition to energy development, climate change and carbon trading are two areas that we believe can make a positive contribution to lowering the relative cost of sustainable energy development. On this basis, these issues are also key targets for our consultancy work.
As well as consultancy to provide the basis for future action, we offer our experience of work in this field to other organisations where the ultimate aims are directly related to facilitating sustainable energy development. This has included assessment of the intentions of other organisations active in this field, or recommendations for appropriate policy frameworks.
