From the airport
- Take the N2 towards Cape Town
- At Groote Schuur Hospital ("Hospitable Hill") keep to the left hand lane and take De Waal Drive, following the signs to M3 (M62) Cape Town (South)
- Travel approximately 2.5 km
- Take the first exit to M3 (M62) Cape Town
- Continue along Mill Street (which becomes Annandale and then Orange)
- Travel through 2 sets of traffic lights
- Pass the Mount Nelson on the lefthand side, and go through the pedestrian traffic light at the entrance to that hotel
- At the next set of traffic lights, turn left into Rheede Street
- At the stop sign, turn left into Kloof Street
- Travel about one and a half blocks, to No. 89 Kloof Street, on the lefthand side of the road.
From the N1 (travelling south)
If travelling on the N1 south towards Cape Town CBD,
- Travel to the end of the highway, with the V&A Waterfront on your lefthand side
- Continue straight along the extension of the highway road, which is Buitengracht (M62)
- Travel through 4 sets of traffic lights, counting from the first set at the end of the highway (crossroads: Coen Steyler, Hans Strydom, Strand & Wale)
- At the fifth set of lights (Buitensingel) turn left
Travel down the hill
- At the traffic lights at the foot of the hill, turn right into Kloof Street
- Travel approximately four and a half blocks up Kloof to No. 89, on the lefthand side of the road.
From the M3 (travelling north or west)
If travelling along the M3 from the southern suburbs towards Cape Town CBD,
- Follow the signs to M3 Cape Town
- After passing the University of Cape Town, on the left, and Rhodes Memorial, also on the left, keep to the lefthand side of the road and follow the signs to and take De Waal Drive, following the signs to M3 (M62) Cape Town (South)
- Travel approximately 2.5 km
- Take the first exit to M3 (M62) Cape Town
- Continue along Mill Street (which becomes Annandale and then Orange)

Description of No. 89 Kloof Street & Parking
The building before No. 89 is No.87A. No. 89 has blue wrought iron gates, and is a grey coloured building. Parking will be arranged. Please drive passed the building, and turn immediately left (before the rear entrance to the Mount Nelson). The blue wrought iron gate should be open. Park in any open space.
